Effective Altruism
Effective Altruism Effective Altruism is a growing movement, where people give what they can, in time or resources such as money and target it to have the greatest impact. The movement uses evidence and analysis to making any giving we do, work as effectively as possible.
I recently signed up and have found it a useful aid to giving well. It doesn’t determine all my giving, but it has helped me decide to support individual charities that are making a huge difference, for example by tackling an issue such as malaria, using proven methods like bed net distribution.
