Global Supervisors’ Network partners with EthicalCoach to support trainee coaches in Africa
The Global Supervisors’ Network is delighted to be partnering with EthicalCoach, the philanthropic arm of WBECS, to support trainee coaches in Africa. The vision of Ben Croft, the founder of WBECS, is to bring world class coaches to NGO leaders tackling the world’s most challenging environmental and humanitarian issues as defined by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. The target is to have in place, within a decade, 32,000 coaches delivering 64,000 coaching interventions resulting in millions of additional disadvantaged children and families receiving support. The journey starts in Ethiopia in October 2018 when the first Leadership Summit takes place to support the Ethiopian NGO sector. Alongside this, supervisors who are members of the GSN will be working with 30 Aspirant Coaches in Addis Ababa who are being given coach training to build local coaching capacity and develop a coaching community. The international Global Supervisors’ Network team will be working virtually with small groups and one-to-one with the trainee coaches from June to October 2018.
