Stepping Out of Otherness – a new book highly recommended
I am delighted to recommend a new book that is available to order now. It is written by Rita Symons and came about because after events in Minneapolis in May 2020 she found herself noting the absence of female voices in the discourse around inclusion. The book, Stepping Out of Otherness takes a narrative approach based on interviews with women of colour and while Rita has shared some uncomfortable experiences, it is ultimately about hope for a better way of being and connecting.
