The Coaching Supervision Casebook
I am delighted to recommend this excellent book The Coaching Supervision Casebook – Meeting your Supervisees’ NEEDS, which is full of useful case studies from practice. Edited by Jeremy Lewis it includes a useful and interesting discussion of what coaching supervision is, what supervisors do, and his NEEDS framework along with 18 case studies. I was privileged to contribute one (Case 17) on Using recordings to take us to our learning edge – on the theme of ‘am I enough?‘ which was written with one of my supervision groups. It is multi-layered, with supervision group member, Jo Cleary, bringing a recording of her own supervision session with her supervisee Dawn Spencer. So through this case you can hear the comments of Dawn, Jo, the other group members, Herman Ditzig, Fee Jacob and Anna Lewis. I am so grateful to all of them for their involvement in, and commitment to, the case study. You can hear more through this snippet on LinkedIn.
