The Manifesto for Supervision
The Manifesto for Supervision is a “call to arms”: it promotes the importance of supervision in coaching, examines its history, why it is important, summarizes main models and research, considers ethics in supervision and calls for collaboration between industry stakeholders. Written by Peter Hawkins, Eve Turner and Jonathan Passmore, it is jointly published by Henley Business School and the Association for Coaching. The launch event was in the spectacular setting of Barclays’ atrium on the 30th floor at their Canary Wharf HQ in London on 15th May, and was hosted by Katherine Tulpa, the CEO of the Association for Coaching, and the Henley Centre for Coaching. The Manifesto is available here, and from the AC and Henley websites.
