Exciting CPPD opportunities with APECS

APECS is running its most ambitious webinar programme yet with the “How To…” series, covering 11 key coaching and supervision topics, and starting on 16th June.  Each webinar is held in 2 time zones, 8 am and 4pm UK (except 16 June 9am), to allow coaches and supervisors to access the sessions globally.  The topics cover contracting to chemistry meetings, and ending well to coaching outcomes. You can book each session individually (£5 for members and £10 for non-members) through the APECS site, or you can book all 11, and be sent recordings for any you can’t make, at a reduced price (£40 members and £75 non-members).  That is for nearly 14 hours of CPD.

I’m delighted to be part of the panel for a few, including on 7th July. The panel discussion will include Professor David Lane and myself and experts providing services to coaches, on how we ensure our clients are looked after in the event of our illness, incapactition or death. We will explore whether we have plans in place and what we might need to do.

I am also very excited to share with you a unique workshop on the Gestalt approach to coaching on Thursday 8th July 1400-1700 UK time with the incomparable Peter Bluckert, to me, one of the titans of our profession. I consider Peter an innovator and pioneer in leadership development and executive coaching and recall the great impression Peter’s book “Psychological Dimensions of Executive Coaching” made on me when I was training in the mid 2000s. Since then he has written much more, alongside working with FTSE 100 teams and leaders, running businesses, training future coaches and now actively engaged in the gestalt approach to vertical development.

Peter helped co-found the EMCC and was also a founder member of APECS, for whom he is kindly running this workshop in his capacity as honorary member.
