The Work That Reconnects – the next Sustainability Coaching Coalition roundtables in March 2026
I am delighted to be involved in setting up the next SCC (Sustainability Coaching Coalition) roundtables in March 2026. They will be 90 minutes long and are taking place on Wednesday 11th March at 0900 GMT and Thursday 12th March at 1500 GMT. Booking and full details will be available on the SCC website soon. The guests will be Linda Aspey from the UK and Alice Howard-Vyse from Australia.
The roundtable will be based on “The Work that Reconnects” which helps to support and mobilise us to reconnect with what is really important, to face reality, and to reframe passive hope into active engagement during what many see as troubling times. It was originally developed by inspirational eco-philosopher, the late Joanna Macy, in the 1970s for activists, bringing together aspects of deep ecology, systems theory and Buddhism. The Spiral Journey is a framework that helps us to experience our fullest selves, including our gratitude, our pain, to develop new perspectives and to become reconnected, more creative and more energised for the work that needs to be done. We will link this to our work as coaches, mentors, coaching psychologists and supervisors.
