Writing: The Heart of Coaching Supervision and Ethics in Supervision
It has been quite a week with my first book going to the publishers, Routledge. It is called “The Heart of Coaching Supervision – working with Reflection and Self-care” and is edited by myself and Professor Stephen Palmer. I am so grateful to the chapter authors such as Professor Peter Hawkins, Eunice Aquilina, Jackee Holder, Professor Tatiana Bachkirova and many others, along with the case study authors from around the world, including India, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, France, Greece and the UK. It has been a delight working with them all and I have not been put off working on a second book. Please do get in touch if you would like to discuss the joy (and challenges) of writing!
Jonathan Passmore and I have also had our first peer-reviewed article published this month on our research project on tricky dilemmas. It is freely available to read on the open-access publication “The International Journal of Evidence Based Coaching and Mentoring.” It is entitled: Ethical dilemmas and tricky decisions: A global perspective of coaching supervisors’ practices in coach ethical decision-making.
