What is the role of coaches in the climate crisis? 
In early December political leaders and climate diplomats are meeting in Madrid for COP25, against a background described by the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres as “the point of no return is no longer over the horizon.” With rising sea levels; a warming climate; melting ice caps; more floods, droughts, forest fires, cyclones; the loss of half of the planet’s coral reefs in 30 years; species dying out 10 times more quickly than would occur naturally; and increasing carbon emissions; what is the role of coaches who work with some of the world’s leaders?
Many coaches are already writing and working in this space worldwide. A few examples are: Hetty Einzig, Josie McLean, Zoe Cohen, Liz Hall, Alison Whybrow, David Drake, Peter Hawkins, Neil Scotton, Charly Cox.
